Chase The Rainbow

Last night was a beautiful night.  Every once in a while my fiance and I take a ride in his truck to get some alone time out of the house.  Last night we did the same, and it turned out that we left right in the middle of a pretty nasty thunderstorm.

This alone made the drive pretty interesting and fun.  Bald tires and downpours don't exactly mix well, but this predicament ended up bringing entertainment, and some thrill.

Once the storm was over, we saw a beautiful rainbow.  It was extremely bright, and you could see every color.  I then noticed that there was a faded one right beside it.  Now it's not every day you see two rainbows parallel to each other, but I'm not done yet.

After driving a little longer, that bright rainbow turned huge!  We could see the whole rainbow sprawled across the sky.  It was amazing seeing where the rainbow started and ended, and it looked so close.

Mason and I realized how close it seemed, so we drove around some more to see how close we could get.  Surprisingly, we did get closer, but we didn't actually find the "pot of gold".

It turned out to be a very special night, and the rainbow especially made it a memorable one.  Of all the blessings, some times the smallest ones mean the most.
