Is there any stay at home jobs that aren't spam?

I have been searching for a job that I can do from home because of Mason working such long hours.  I have to stay home with the baby, but we still need extra money.  All of the jobs that I've run into are spam, and we are desperate.  Has anyone had success with a stay at home job?  We need something that doesn't ask for a lot of money to get started.  I'm great at writing and math, but I don't have any experience.  I also have my high school diploma.  Any suggestions?  Please let me know, and tell me your story.
